Hi I’m CyberPunk 65 (aka Ray Burr). I’m a fledgling blogger of about a month or so, but I used to write articles as a self-taught freelance photojournalist back in the 80s. I found making a living from my writing a big challenge – and unsustainable. So I had to give it up and settle for a life of business and suits.By the end of the 90s I’d gotten into fiction writing and managed to squeeze out a novel in 1997 (“dirty drugs” – unpublished). I feat I have since not re-achieved. I remain a frustrated and pretentious fiction writer/novelist.As an ex-bankrupt and ex-company director (and ex-conservative) and now an under-employed cleaner-upper of other people’s mess, I understand and appreciate politics from both sides of the fence. And as a pagan cyberpunk my views are often radical, and frequently controversial… I often find myself being a New age evangelist on matters of multi-faiths and magick too.

Now I’ve gotten into blogging and twittering (which is almost micro blogging in itself) on all forms of the British political arena and a few aspects of New ahem life. I think of myself as a political guru and freedom of speech advocate; an under-employed, underpaid, overlooked and underappreciated wunderkind who loves to show-off any chance he can; so blogging gives me that chance on a full-time basis.

Having said all that, I’m just a normal guy really, who thinks too much… don’t act on his instincts enough… and should know better…. but rarely does 😉
